Igloo Founders Message - Year End Review
Another year around the sun for the Igloo Team! A quick message from us
Dear founders and friends,
I definitely feel like I was writing last years note yesterday! Crazy how time flies. What have we been up to this year? A lot…to say the least. We’ve reinvested a lot of our time into new engines here at Igloo, expanding our offerings for founders across even more fundamentals, gotten philosophical (with a newsletter) and have exciting plans for more verticals in 2025.
Of course, while there’s not enough words to describe how grateful Alex and I are for the hard work the Igloo team’s put in this year, we just want to acknowledge that everything we’ve done to build the business so far, is credited to their hard work and incredibly high caliber execution working with founders.
So, let’s have a look at what we’ve accomplished this year…
#1 Amazon: Partnership Announcement with Adbrew

In 2024, we launched our Amazon team! As a business we’re incredibly excited for this new venture. We’ve had the pleasure of working with multiple categories and have grown Amazon to our third largest paid channel behind Google and Facebook. In September we announced our partnership with Adbrew, as our DSP partner. While DSP is limited to limited agency partnerships, we’re optimistic DSP will cast a wider net of Amazon offerings for our founders. While Alex and I used to hate Amazon (who hasn’t at some point in time) in the days when we actively competed against them, we are optimistic about the platform and the re-release of launchpad.
#2 Dollar Commerce: Founders Newsletter

“When did ‘entrepreneur’ become a dirty word” - Dollar Commerce
A few months ago, I launched a Substack newsletter called Dollar Commerce. Why? I thought it would be a great way to step back, look at the industry and the landscape of what we do day-to-day and get a little philosophical. By doing so, it’s also given me a few hours a week to research, learn and understand more about the field in which we’re so immersed in day to day, as well as connect with other writers. So far the feedback’s been great, with some tips and tricks inherited from voices in the community. This week I celebrated 1000+ Subscribers (mostly founders). In 2025, I’ll be adding a Founder Series where celebrated founders will be feature writers, Recruiting and more (TBD).
#3 - We’ve worked with 45 brands in 2024, from all walks of life
#4 - We’ve completed 40% more website builds this year than last
#5 - We’ve added 1 new web developer (Shopify/Webflow focused)
#6 - We’ve added 3 new team members to paid advertising channels
#7 - We’ve added 2 new offerings: Amazon Ads + Landing Page Design
Milestone’s to achieve in 2025:

To infinity and beyond
#1 - Double the size of our Amazon clients
#2 - Double the size of our TikTok clients
#3 - Build 2 mobile applications
#4 - Double the size of Igloo Assistant experts going in-house with brands
#5 - Publish 60 articles on Dollar Commerce and grow following to 3,000 founders
#6 - Work with 50 new businesses in any capacity or service offering
#7 - Sign with a public company to our client roster
#8 - Stay focused on performance for founders above all else
#9 - Improve cadence of our case study releases on site
#10 - Keep y’all in the loop more!

Haus: Ideal for brands spending $5m+ on ads p/year. Haus is changing the way brands run “lift tests” to gauge the incrementality if certain paid channels

Meta’s categorisation: Must read if you’re in politics, health and wellness or financial services as it’ll affect BOF transparence
Trump tariffs: These could affect more categories than others, but it’s worth looking into
